Farm to Garden Organics began as Stanhope Organics in 2013. In 2021, it evolved into Farm to Garden Organics, continuing the same mission: turning local yard waste into nutrient-rich soil developer.

 Instead of sending yard waste to the landfill, we use it as bedding for our cattle. From there, it’s composted and transformed into a clean, all-natural soil developer that improves soil health over time. The result is less waste, fewer emissions, and healthier gardens.

 It’s a simple closed-loop system. Using advanced composting systems, we create real waste diversion, meaningful soil improvement, and a cycle that simply makes sense.

The Full-Circle Growth Cycle

Our soil developer, crafted from a blend of recycled garden waste and dairy cattle manure, undergoes a robust heating and decomposition process under strict conditions to yield a nutrient-rich soil amendment. This product fertilizes suppressed weeds, bolstering water retention, clay dispersion, and microbial activity vital for healthy gardens.

Our mission on South Vancouver Island is to provide premium cultured soil products, achieved through our cutting-edge, large-scale facility. Equipped with remote windrow temperature monitoring, in-floor aeration for twelve 50-meter windrows, and local soil lab analysis, our operations efficiently repurpose significant volumes of waste, integrating them into our farm waste management program. By merging organic farm waste with Greater Victoria’s garden waste, we produce top-tier soil solutions while minimizing landfill impact.
